Carlos Castillo bio sketch

Mr. Castillo is a graduate from the prestigious Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and the University of New Orleans.  As a child, Carlos developed a passion for jewelry and gemstones thanks to his Maternal Grandmother Elena “Mita” who would ask him to clean her jewelry to keep him busy and entertained. 

Carlos is a multi-cultural professional with a fascination for jewelry, gemstones, color, travel, fashion, history, home/interior design and gardening.  After a decade in the hospitality and tourism industry, Carlos decided to pursue his vocation in gemology, appraising and jewelry design.
