Additional Services
- $120.00/Half-Hour Consultation (In Office) For verification purposes or pre and post purchase. We can inspect your jewelry items and determine what is genuine fine jewelry and what is costume jewelry. Thinking about selling your jewelry, we can assist in determining which of various jewelry selling options is best for you. The $120 fee is waived when a client moves forward with a minimum of 5 jewelry appraisals for same day and same report.
- $240.00/Hour Consultation (2 hour minimum for out of office)
- $40.00 Appraisal Report Reprint (plus shipping when applicable)
- $15.00 each additional picture.
- $35.00 Diamond Plot on Appraisal Report
- $35.00 Gem Testing/Identification. Results are giving verbally. No Report, Per Stone.
- $60.00 Appraisal Update for first item; each additional item $45.00 (same report). Insurance companies set an expiration on the appraisal reports. Check with your insurance provider to determine when your update is required. Update must be requested before five year anniversary of original report (plus shipping when applicable).

Travel & Portable gemological equipment
set up Fees
$200.00 (single fee) for travel up to 20 miles from office. This fee is waived when client has 7 or more jewelry appraisal items same day.
$300.00 (single fee) for travel between 20 and 40 miles from office. This fee is waived when client has 10 or more jewelry appraisal items same day. Please contact office if travel falls outside 40 miles from office. |
Prior to the appraisal appointment
Clean and/or wipe all fine jewelry and timepieces thoroughly as the pieces will be appraised and photographed as is.
Bring all documentation about the pieces you have with you including sales receipts, diamond and gemstone certifications and grading reports (GIA, AGS, GSI, IGI, EGL, LEO, Tolkowsky, Crown of Light, etc….), timepiece certifications of authenticity that may disclose serial and model numbers and limited edition information. If you have the original boxes – bring them. If in doubt - bring it! |
